Hello! My name is Jonathan Ro, and I am a recent graduate from USC, where I studied Economics and Business Finance. Before college, I swam for Beach Cities Swimming for 9 years and Mira Costa High School Varsity for 4 years. I have taught and managed over 400 clients in the past 5 years and hope to continue spreading the knowledge and passion I have for swimming. I love to have fun while pushing kids out of their comfort zone. I look forward to seeing you in the water!

TIFFANY ZHANG

Hi, I’m Tiffany Zhang, Chief Operations Officer. I hold a degree in Business Finance from California State University, Long Beach, and bring a strong background in team management, scheduling logistics, and customer service. I oversee the day-to-day operations of our swim program, making sure instructors, families, and facilities are coordinated smoothly and efficiently. My past leadership roles taught me how to build systems that support both staff performance and an excellent client experience. I’m passionate about creating structure behind the scenes so our instructors can focus on what matters most—teaching swimmers with care and confidence.

MADISON GILMARTIN
Swim Instructor
Hi, I'm Madison Gilmartin! I'm an Environmental Scientist and lifelong swimmer raised in the South Bay. My swim journey began at the Torrance Plunge, where I first learned to swim as a young child. I continued to develop my skills through Junior Lifeguards and club swimming during middle school, which prepared me for four memorable years competing on my high school swim and water polo teams.
With years of personal experience in and around the water, I understand how foundational swimming can be—not just as a safety skill, but as a lifelong source of wellness, confidence, and joy. I’m passionate about helping others build that same relationship with the water from an early age.
Max Harrison

Hey! My name is Max Harrison and I am currently a student at Santa Monica Community College. I just recently graduated high school and have a long history of swimming and playing water related sports. I have professional swim instruction experience of 3 years. I teach with passion and care for each one of my students and hope that every time they step out of the pool with me they learn something new.
